This piece is called Closer to His Vision… I had a lot of names in my mind for this one when I first started. It always seems that when God gives you a vision and you start moving towards that vision… the dynamics in some of the relationships in your life start to change. The inspiration from this one came to me when I started, moving in a direction God wanted me to go, and I began hearing negative things from people who i thought had my back, and supported me…. Crazy… It hurt but it inspired me to start painting this piece. As I kept moving forward in his vision, I found that those who have always truly been there for me, kept encouraging me and uplifting me, along with new people i met along the way. So out of something negative came something positive. This piece is about someone moving into God’s vision, his destiny (the white space is the eye of God, His Vision)… Depending on where you are in your life and in your journey… The people below are either trying to pull you down or they are uplifting you, or a mix of both. It depends on where you are on your journey moving in the vision that God has for you…. And hopefully it keeps encouraging you to keep moving forward…
